This Hearts Tribute Page is dedicated to Eileen Gordon who sadly passed away. It is a place for family, friends and colleagues to share their messages of support, as well as make a donation in her honor to the Heart Foundation.

A note from Jim and Ian Gordon:
Hello everyone
You are already aware that our amazing, talented, loving mother Eileen recently passed away.
Eileen was a very special person who always left a positive impression on everyone she met throughout her long, energetic and productive life. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, her focus was always on looking after her family first. Professionally she had a very successful career as a scientist and teacher while in her retirement became a driving force leading the fundraising for, and facilitation of, multiple significant community support initiatives for Health Services in the northern beaches region, specifically Mona Vale hospital.
Her passion for helping others and making a difference was the driving force behind her voluntary long term, local community engagement in the northern beaches region, where she lived for 63 years.
Rather than sending flowers to her service as a mark of respect, we know she would be so pleased to see everyone instead contribute to this foundation by making a donation to support the amazing work they do. Although mum loved flowers, their beauty and impact only lasts for a very short time where donating that money instead to a cause like this can bring about long term improvements to community health services.
Thank you all for your genuine ongoing support and kind thoughts you have shared with us especially in recent times. We are truly grateful. Although mum has left this world her legacy lives on through the many local community health support initiatives she championed. We will truly miss her and she will always have a special place in all our hearts.
