In memory of Jalil/Jim/Dad
Welcome to Jalil’s “Forever in our Hearts” tribute page. This page is a place for family and friends to share their memories of our beloved Jalil, as well as to raise donations to support the Heart Foundation.
Jalil better known as Jim or Jimmy was a hard-working, humble, kind, caring and funny man. He was married to Joumana for 36 years and had three beautiful daughters Amanda, Tanya and Julia. Jim also had five amazing grandchildren Essjay, Zakier, Atarah, Adam and Sianna. He came from a close and big Lebanese family of 5 other siblings. His family was his world and he was a proud Australian-Lebanese man.
Jim often had a smile on his face, shared many jokes and always offered a helping hand to his loved ones and strangers. However, behind that smile, he battled heart disease and other health diseases for 19 years. Jim had his first heart attack in 2013 close to Christmas time. Since then, he had numerous heart attacks, multiple heart operations and procedures and had an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator implanted. Jim also survived a civil war in Lebanon and a traumatic car accident. Jim never complained about his pain and always showed up – he showed up to work to support his family, never missed a family event and did anything for his family.
Jim was forever grateful for the medical team that worked along his side to support him and his family during these 19 years. His family are so appreciative of the medical team and would love for research to continue to support other families who have special members battling heart disease.
Jalil/Jim/dad, you will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. You are a hero. We hope the Heart Foundation can help other families keep their heroes in their lives. Rest in peace and love, dad. We love you!

I remember a fishing trip to Peel Island with a picnic on the shore. That was a very enjoyable day with all the family. Your Dad and Brent spent many hours fishing, looking all over the bay. My your Dad rest in peace.
