Thank you for the last week you gave us.. wasn’t long enough but we know how blessed we all are that you stubbornly made it happen, laughing and joking all the way to the end. Your welcome to annoy them up there.. maybe they will send you back to us xox

We will miss you John. You were always a straight shooter, you said what you meant. We loved your honesty.You were a wonderful family man and always kind and generous to the community.Rest in peace you will be sorely missed.

Karen- John smith is such a common name but there was only ever one John Smith - our S@&t stiring, fun loving, Kind generous John who was always up for a chat and to give some good advice. RIP John and thank you for the kindness showed to Grandma and myself I will definitely miss that cheeky smile.

Growing up with the Smith family I was always the fill in daughter at events one of the girls couldn’t attend. Always a family of 6, to now lose you John will be difficult for the family, stay strong, stick together and always know John will always be with you. I treasure the advice John gave me and always knew he was a phone call away. RIP, fly with the angels, Love to you Toni, Karen, Deb,Lisa, Renae and all of your beautiful families ❤️

RIP John. I have many happy memories of John working with him for 15 years. He was always there to offer help could be annoying when trying to get work done and he just wanted to talk. Thank you for all the laughs and memories. He leaves behind a wonderful family. 😍

What a wonderful man. Many long conversations. Well respected by our family.

John held his hand out when no once else would. He stirred the pot and laughed a lot. He always went the extra mile. He had a special soul that touched us deeply in the relatively short but intense time we got to know him. We miss the morning calls, the midday calls and the night calls. We miss his distinct laugh and his determined nature.

John’s enthusiasm for making people smile will be missed, as will his jokes and baked cakes. We were lucky to know John.
