My beautiful strong hard working Dad, was diagnosed in 2017 with chronic heart failure, not a lot of us understood the disease and I don’t even think Dad did really, we all were in denial. I can’t imagine what Dads thoughts were with the prognosis! He was a man with a lot of dignity, pride and never wanting to worry anyone with this disease. Sadly my Dad, passed away in January 2021, I had to perform cpr, and wait 18 minutes which felt like 18 hours for the ambulance to arrive! He couldn’t be revived, and I live with that every day! No son or daughter should have to perform cpr on their parent! He was 69!! A loving supportive father and a cherished grandfather, look after your ❤️❤️❤️❤️
