In memory of someone special...

Welcome to my Forever in our Hearts tribute page. This page is a place for family and friends to share their memories of Allan as well as to raise donations to support the Heart Foundation.  

The Heart Foundation funds life-changing research and programs for people with or at risk of heart disease, as well as their friends, families and communities. I’m raising funds to support their work because I believe in a future free from heart disease.

I hope you’ll consider making a donation in honour of Allan's life. Your gift will support heart disease research, treatment and education that provide hope for thousands of Australians.

A Year without Allan

Tuesday 8th Dec
The incredible, heartbreaking artwork is extremely touching and very emotional. This sculpture depicts how losing a loved one feels – an emptiness.  “We may look as if we carry on with our lives as before. We may even have times of joy and happiness. Everything may seem “normal”. But THIS, “Emptiness” is how we all feel…all the time.”
(The artwork is called Melancholy by Albert György & is on display in Geneva, Switzerland) 

Allan's Birthday 25/10/2020

Tuesday 27th Oct
A day of reflection of many wonderful memories for the boys and I.  We still have that sense that his arms are around us.  He adored us and we him.

"Love you always" is what each of us would put in our cards.

We miss you more with each day x

So many great memories of Allan, such a fantastic character and a great influence on me growing up, despite being on the other side of the world for the most part. He was the person who really got me into football, and Barnsley FC (it'd have been LUFC if it wasn't for him!). He even took me to my first ever match, a mediocre affair against QPR which the tykes won 1-0. That was 1998, we're still mediocre. All the best Alyson, Seb and Alex - hope to see you all again soon
