A Walk for Gil Kras
Heart Week is Australia’s National Heart Health
Awareness week, held every May by the Heart Foundation.
The Kras family will be getting involved to help raise awareness, and encourage
positive steps towards reducing the risk of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome
(SADS).
We’ll be walking around Albert Park Lake on Sunday 11th May 2025, just before the AJAX footy match, which will be played in honour of our beloved Gil as “Gilly’s Match” at Gary Smorgon Oval.
Meeting Point: Carousel, 22 Aughtie Drive, Albert Park.
Arrival Time: 10:15 AM
Walk Starts: 10:30 AM – We’ll do one lap of Albert Park Lake, starting from Carousel.
Optional: After the lap, those wanting to join for the footy match can drive over to Gary Smorgon Oval for the Tribute to Gil at 12.15 PM and footy match at 12:30 PM.
Anyone is welcome to join us for the walk. And if you can’t make it, we’d love your support through a donation to this important cause. However you choose to support, truly makes a difference.
